Images of the Peaks

Here I am still in the UK. I do seem to have been here for rather a long time this visit. I will have another week or two here before heading east again, first to Bangkok and then on to Cambodia where my tour of duty leading tours for Redspokes will commence. There are a few places left on the tour, if you should fancy a couple of weeks cycling around Cambodia then please have a look here for more info.
Right, plug out of the way, on to a little recommendation for anyone interested in mountain biking in the UK. Once again Dicki and I headed of to the Peak District and once again it was a first class weekend. The Hope Valley is so far as we are concerned just about as good as it gets. Beautiful scenery, good pubs, several campsites and mountain biking varied and challenging enough to keep it interesting whilst still being over 95% ridable even for the Walker brothers.
Rather than babble on about single track and rocky descents and forest fire tracks I shall leave you with a few images of the Hope Valley.

  1. Love those pictures of Hope Valley Walks … Dicki and I will be there next week enjoying a couple of days on the bikes.

    • Cheers Jonesy, you will be in good hands, Dicki has a fine knowledge of rehydration centres in the region, you won’t go thirsty.
